What this site measures.
Two counters run on these pages, and between them they tell us which pages get read and which buttons get pressed. Neither of them knows who you are. Here is exactly what they see.
ഈ സൈറ്റ് ആരാണ് നിങ്ങൾ എന്ന് അറിയുന്നില്ല. താഴെ വിശദമായി.
What is counted.
Google Analytics counts a visit: which of the pages you opened, in what order, how long you stayed, roughly which town you were in, and whether you arrived from Google, from our Google Maps listing, from Instagram or by typing the address. It also counts four things you can do here — pressing a WhatsApp button, pressing a phone number, opening our location in Maps, and working one of the calculators. It counts that they happened. It does not record what you typed.
All of it is added up. We can see how many people worked the bill calculator last week and how many of them went on to WhatsApp. We cannot see which ones, and neither can Google Analytics.
What is recorded.
Microsoft Clarity keeps a playback of how a page was used — scrolling, taps, which parts held attention and where people gave up. It is how we find out that a section everyone scrolls past should be rewritten or removed.
What you type into a field is masked by Clarity before it leaves your browser. The results the calculator then prints on the page are part of the page, so they can appear in that playback — an estimated bill and a suggested system size, attached to no name, no number and no address. If you would rather that did not happen, blocking cookies for this site stops it.
What never leaves your browser.
The arithmetic. Every calculator on this site runs on your own phone or computer — the bill, the slabs, the subsidy, the payback, the EMI. Those figures are not sent to us and are not stored anywhere.
There is no contact form on this site, no account to make, nothing to pay for, and no newsletter. The only way anything reaches us is if you press WhatsApp or call. The WhatsApp button opens your own WhatsApp with a message already written in it, including whatever the calculator worked out; nothing is sent until you press send, and you can edit or delete any of it first. When you do send it, we see your WhatsApp number and your message, exactly as with any other message you send anyone.
Ask us.
If you want to know what we hold, or want something removed, write to ficussolar@gmail.com or call +91 90619 84587 and say so. For a website visit the honest answer is usually that there is nothing to remove, because nothing was attached to you in the first place.
This notice covers this website. The paperwork of an actual installation — your KSEB consumer number, the subsidy application on the national portal, your bank details for the subsidy payment — is a separate matter, handled under the rules of those schemes, and we will tell you what is needed as we go.
